Five Warwick undergraduate engineers win Warwick sports awards
We are delighted to announce that five of our students won sports scholarships or bursaries this year, taking 25% of the awards. An amazing achievement both individually and as group since the engineers represent only around 10% of the undergraduate students at Warwick. Congratulations to Ruth Leong-Scanlan (Swimming) and Gareth Davies (Target Rifle Shooting) who won 2 of the 3 silver scholarship awards, Jonathan May (Tae Kwon Do) and Rhys Hill (Lacrosse) who both won bronze scholarships and Cameron Blackwell (Underwater Hockey) who was awarded a sports bursary. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.
