The Student Computing Laboratories are available for the use of Engineering students and staff only.

Most of the installed software is specialised and is not generally available, other than through VDI.
Eating and drinking is not allowed. This is a Health & Safety requirement.
Timetabled laboratories take precedence over other uses, therefore you may be asked to move or leave at short notice to accommodate them.
Extra printer credits can be purchased from the printing page.

The Laboratories may also be shut at short notice for maintenance.
IT staff can provide support relating to operating system and hardware issues only. All other software/technical questions related to module assignments should be directed to the supervising academic or the academic who set the work.
Handy Hints
When retrieving files from an email or internet location make sure you save them to a known location before editing them. Otherwise you may lose your work.
