The IET - Have your say on how we communicate with you
If you are a student member of the IET, you can take part in an online or telephone interview about how we can improve our communications with student members like you
Dear student,
The IET is conducting research with student members on how we can improve communications about our membership offering and we would love to hear from you.
As part of a wider IET initiative to ensure we remain relevant and useful to our members’ professional needs, we have commissioned an independent research agency, Shift Membership, to conduct interviews on our behalf. The feedback from these interviews will help us review our communication methods and strategies and ensure that you’re getting the best out of your IET membership.

Upcoming open days:
We have organised a series of sector focussed open evenings in late October. These will take place virtually and are open to students studying in all years.
The open evenings will include a series of short speaker talks, delivered by senior, industry respected subject matter experts from our various disciplines.
Talks will provide context on the type of services Arup provides within different disciplines, showcase various projects and outline what the future holds / future trends within the discipline. Additionally, there will be an expo hall where attendees can network with current graduates and the early-careers recruitment team.
