The objective for the role is to develop a ground breaking 3D face recognition solution for high security UK and global commercial applications, plus the seamless integration with the existing successful CCL 2D facial recognition products and cloud services. As with all KTP funded activity, the role also requires the embedding of an in-house capability for continued innovation in facial recognition services.
Skills required: Qualifications required:
A 2(i) or first class degree or a masters in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering or related discipline is essential, and a relevant PhD would be desirable

* Skills/experience in software development, e.g. using PHP development and Matlab, C++, OpenCV, CUDA or GPU programming.
* Experience of algorithm development for pattern recognition.
* Skills in effectively analyzing and interpreting data to generate outcomes.
* Possess effective communication skills in order to communicate project progress and outcomes, orally and in writing to colleagues and other supervisory groups, and at company presentations or conferences, where appropriate.
