In-House Design and Manufacture

The School of Engineering has a number of Design and Manufacturing facilities which service undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research. When a request for a design or manufacture is made, and before the equipment is used, the designer/manufacturer as well as the person who requested the job should complete the form below, and forward a copy to the Technical Services Manager. Consideration should be paid to ensuring that the design meets specific design standards. See Machinery and Work Equipment for more information relating to these.

Limitations and absolute maximum safe use of equipment and any safety comments or concerns for the future use of the equipment

Declaration by the end user
