New joint paper in Journal of Cleaner Production (IF: 11)

just published a strong output from MINRESCUE project in Journal of Cleaner Production, entitled "Coal mining wastes valorization as raw geomaterials in construction: A review with new perspectives". The joint article, led by Dr Thanh Liem Vo, was the result of a collaborative study by our geomechanics team at University of Warwick with materials and mining scientists at Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter and structural engineering experts at Politecnico di Milano on the valorization of coal mining wastes for high-level construction purposes.

Three papers from Applied Geomechanics Lab accepted for presentation at the 20th ICSMGE Conference.

Fantastic effort by the group members to have the following 3 papers accepted for presentation at the ICSMGE 2022 Conference in Sydney:

1. "Probabilistic post-failure analysis of landslides using stochastic material point method with non-stationary random fields" by Guotao Ma, Mohammad Rezania and Mohad Mousavi Nezhad.

2. "Application of enhanced rotational hardening rules to an anisotropic clay model" by Hesam Dejaloud and Mohammad Rezania.

3. "A bounding surface constitutive model with moving projection centre for highly overconsolidated clays" by Hesam Dejaloud and Mohammad Rezania.
