Biography
Soroush is an associate professor in Water and Environmental Engineering at the School of Engineering and a member of Warwick Centre for Predictive Modelling.
2004 – 2008 BEng in Civil Engineering
2009 – 2011 MSc in Civil Engineering (Coastal and Offshore Engineering)
2012 – 2016 PhD in Coastal Engineering (Victoria Fernandes Fellowship, Warwick)
Thesis: Nearshore Mixing due to the effects of Waves and Currents
Research Interests
Pollution transport in the environment (solute and microplastics)
Resilient infrastructures to natural hazards, climate change and flooding

Other Responsibilities
Soroush is currently chair of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) for Coventry and Warwickshire branch and serves as a member (Vice-Chair) of the UK Leadership Team for International Association of Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR).
