PGT Scholarship Terms and Conditions

Congratulations on obtaining an offer of funding to support your studies in the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick. Please read the terms and conditions of our offer carefully before accepting our offer.

We very much hope you choose to accept your offer.

  1. Recipients of a scholarship from the School of Engineering must abide at all times with the University rules and regulations, as set out in the University Calendar. Link opens in a new window
  2. You must let us know whether you wish to accept this scholarship offer by completing the online form below within two weeks of the date of the scholarship offer letter. You must also accept your place via the applicant portal and either already hold an unconditional offer of admission or meet any outstanding offer conditions by 28 August 2026. If we do not receive your acceptance within two weeks of the date of the scholarship letter, the award will be offered to a reserve candidate.
  3. The offer of the award is made on the understanding that applicants will be enrolled with the University as specified in their offer for entry in autumn 2026. If an applicant later requests deferral, the scholarship will not be transferable.
  4. The scholarship will be applied directly to tuition fees. Scholarships cannot be paid in cash or used for accommodation or maintenance costs. The scholarship award will be paid directly to the Student Finance Team on your behalf. The full academic fee rate is stated in your offer letter.
  5. Recipients of the scholarship will be asked to serve as course ambassadors by acting as a Student Staff Liaison Committee member in the 2026-27 academic year.
  6. This award is not transferable. You should retain a copy of your scholarship offer, plus these terms and conditions, for future reference.
