The Optical Engineering Laboratory (OEL) at the University of Warwick is actively researching many areas, with main binding factor being development of (non-intrusive) diagnostics. Our expertise covers both mechanical and biomedical engineering, with current research covering areas as diverse as engine diagnostics, flow visualisation, additive layer manufacturing for medical applications and ophthalmic diagnostics.

Previous projects included medical laser ablation and diabetes screening.
