A board director and chartered Electronic Engineer with more than 25 years’ experience of bringing innovative technology solutions to the energy sector. His career has focused on engineering, operational & project leadership coupled with multi-functional, international team leadership skills. Andy’s current role is as Engineering Director at GE power leading the UK & APAC Systems Engineering team of over 200 engineers. The work aims to deliver high value, high technology projects in the Energy, Renewable, Offshore, Naval & Industrial markets.

Andy is also a keen volunteer in the Shipbuilding Skills Delivery Group designed to oversee and drive delivery of the taskforce and advocate for skills in the sector. The aim of the group is to help the industry attract, retain and develop talent as well as promote diversity, equality and inclusion in the sector well preparing future skills for upcoming innovations and the transition to Net Zero.
