Louise Hardy
Louise Hardy is a Civil Engineer by background and has rose to director level within the engineering profession. Some notable career positions include senior positions at London Underground working on the Jubilee line extension project, Bechtel as a Project Director and Manger and Laing O’Rourke where she was the infrastructure director for the London 2012 Olympic Park.
From 2015 Louise Hardy began building a non-executive portfolio career with a mix of public sector and FTSE250 board roles. Louise is non-executive director at Travis Perkins plc, Balfour Beatty plc and crest Nicholson plc and was previously Non-Executive Director at Genuit Group plc and Renew Holdings plc. Louise is a fellow in the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), the Charted Management Institute and the Women in Engineering Society as well as partaking in voluntary work for these organisations.
Furthermore, Louise is a STEM ambassador and diversity champion. Throughout her career Louise have received multiple awards and accolades including being Named Overall Businesswoman of the Year at the National Businesswomen’s Awards in 2021. listed in the inaugural Top 50 Influential Women in Engineering list, June 2016 and the FT Top 100 Influential Women Leaders in Engineering, 2019.
