EAMBES Fellowship award for Professor Pecchia
The lab is pleased to announce that our Co-Director Professor Leandro PecchiaLink opens in a new window has been nominated to become a new EAMBES Fellow. EAMBES, the European Alliance for Medical and Biological Engineering Sciences, represents the academic aspects and interests of Biomedical Engineering in Europe (website http://eambes.org/Fellows).
The European Alliance of Medical and Biological Engineering and Science (EAMBES) is a no-profit international organization that federates scientific societies, academic and research institutions located in Europe who are involved with Biomedical Engineering or as it is more appropriately defined "Medical and Biological Engineering and Science". The main objective of EAMBES is to improve the health, wealth, and well being of the citizens of Europe by the application of Medical and Biological Engineering and Science.
The EAMBES Fellows form a group of experts, currently more than 100, who have distinguished themselves by their accomplishments in the area of biomedical engineering and sciences in Europe. They have an important role in steering EAMBES activities on their quest to improve the status of science and funding opportunities in Europe.
