ProjectsODIN ProjectRole: Dr Iadanza’s role in ODIN is focused on ensuring access to relevant data for model development and refinement, and as well on defining interfaces and procedures for data access. He will focus on the collection, enrichment and harmonization of the datasets, implementing the relevant transformation components. He is on charge of the design and deployment of a specific semantic ontology as an extension of the Warwick Apollo Semantic Platform (WASP), an ontology that is specific for Medical Locations. Starting from the analysis of the ODIN hospital pilots, existing nomenclatures and terminologies will be mapped in this new ODIN ontology as well as other relevant and standard ontologies. The datasets from the various pilots will be harmonized according to this ontology and represented in a semantically rich manner, making use of standard techniques, protocols and languages (e.g. RDF, TURTLE, SPARQL, etc.) from semantic web. He will also develop models which, based on WASP simulated scenarios, with the given collected information and data sets, will be able to automatically predict peaks in emergency services, and plan accordingly. WASP eXtended Reality (XR) tools will be used for assessing the different simulated scenarios. ProfileErnesto Iadanza, BME, CE, M. Sc., Ph.D., Senior Research fellow at the School of Engineering on ODIN Project a H2020 funded project.
