Fluid Dynamics Research Centre
About
The Fluid Dynamics Research Centre (FDRC), established in 1996, is a unifying centre for researchers in Fluid Dynamics across all departments of the University of Warwick.
The FDRC organises a programme of seminars, workshops, conferences and other meetings. Our research-seminar series is one of the oldest, continuously running seminar series in Fluid Dynamics in the UK.
Our Mission
Based in the School of Engineering, the aim of the Centre is to promote and carry out collaborative interdisciplinary research, facilitating exchange of expertise and sharing of technology in relevant disciplines, including Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and the School of Life Sciences.
Our Work
The FDRC maintains a balanced programme of fundamental and industrial research projects. The Centre has long-standing links and collaborations with industry. Whenever challenging new opportunities arise we seek to expand existing industrial partnerships and to establish additional ones.
Our co-ordinated, integrated interdisciplinary approach benefits project partners through the concurrent availability of cross-disciplinary theoretical, computational and experimental expertise in Fluid Dynamics and Flow Measurement from all academics and departments associated with our Centre.
