PPE Collection

Wednesday 1 & Thursday 2 October 2025

Engineering Loading/Delivery Bay 

Collection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all incoming students will take place on Wednesday and Thursday of Welcome Week. You will be allocated to a smaller group for the purpose of collecting PPE, and you will be given a 50 minute timeslot in your Welcome Week timetable. Welcome Week timetables should be released in early September.

PPE for lab sessions in the School of Engineering is comprised of:

• safety boots/shoes
• a lab coat
• safety glasses, or 'overspecs' (for glasses wearers)

All items are provided by the School of Engineering free of charge.

Available sizing will use 'UK' measurements as below:

Please note: PPE is mantatory for timetabled lab sessions from week 1 onwards. You must collect PPE during Welcome Week, and wear PPE during lab sessions.
