Warwick Students' Union

    As a student of the University of Warwick, you automatically become a member of the Students’ Union.

    Warwick SU is run by students for students, and the elected team of Student Officers work closely with the SU's Staff Team and the Board of Trustees to ensure that everything they do is in the best interests of the student community.     Societies

    Warwick SU has over 250 societies covering a wide range of student interests.

    Sports clubs

    Sports Clubs are entirely student-run and are a key part of the opportunities offered to all students at Warwick. Clubs also benefit from support from Warwick SportLink opens in a new window - the heart of sport, fitness and an active lifestyle at the University of Warwick. Warwick Sport provides Sports Clubs with state-of-the-art sport and fitness facilities, including the Sport and Wellness HubLink opens in a new window.

    Events

    The SU boasts a huge variety of events throughout the academic year. These may be organised and delivered by societies, the SU or external partners.

    Academic representation

    The SU's Student Voice system works in partnership with the University to ensure that students have a say on their educational experience whilst at Warwick. The SU supports student reps and University staff in order to establish an effective partnership with the power to make change.

    Each department has an SSLC (Student-Staff Liaison Committee) which meets at least four times a year to discuss many aspects of the course. Find out more information about SSLCs.

    You will hear more about the School of Life Sciences SSLC during Welcome Week and subsequently have the opportunity to apply to be on the committee during the first few weeks of term.
