MA912 Analysis for Linear PDE's

Students might like to look at Partial Differential Equation by Lawrence C Evans, in particular the material in Chapter 1, and Sections 2.1 - 2.3 in Chapter 2.

Thinking about Problem 1 in Section 1.5 and Problems 1-4 in Section 2.5 would also be a good exercise.
