Maths PGR News
New Online form for leave and absences - non-academic reasons
Occasionally, you might have good non-academic reasons to be away from the University for longer periods. These could be for family events, illness (possibly) with treatment elsewhere, or your might just want to take some holidays.
So far, this involved liaising with the PGR admin team, usually by email. To simplify it, we have set up an online form: https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/maths/currentstudents/currentpostgraduates/phd_studies/attendance/
Please use that one to let us know if you are or will be away for longer periods (more than three working days seems reasonable).
If we see ways to potential support you, or if we see any issues, then we'll get back to you. This is unlikely in straightforward cases (such as annual leave), though.
Before booking any annual leave please ensure you discuss and agree your plans with your Supervisor and let the Postgraduate Team know of any agreed plans by completing the following webpage (https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/maths/currentstudents/currentpostgraduates/phd_studies/attendance/)
