Festival of Postgraduate Research 2026

We welcome all of the Warwick research interested community to come celebrate our wonderful PG Researchers on Monday 15 June 2026 at the Oculus Building.

We have designed the Festival with flexibility and accessibility at heart, as such we have consciously chosen to hold the highlights of the Festival, the PG Researchers Showcasing, over the lunchtime period. So if you are only able step out of your busy schedule for a short time we hope you will join us for these exciting presentations, in-person or online (please see Accessibility statement & FAQs).

Our PG Researchers will be showcasing their work through live Presentations, Exhibitions and Community Showcases.

We will have a range of parallel interactive Development Session to support PG Researchers to develop the Doctoral Value - Learning & Personal Growth, an engaging Keynote speaker to open the Festival, and a closing Plenary Panel to showcase different stages in research career journey.

There will be opportunities for networking, to learn more about the support and opportunities for PG Researchers, and to celebrate our PG Researchers during the two scheduled refreshment breaks.

The Festival is a free event to the whole research interested community at Warwick.

Showcasing and celebrating research at Warwick

Research students make a vital contribution to the university. Innovative, interdisciplinary and path-breaking, the work being done by our PG Researchers is outstanding. But PG Researchers aren't just valued for their research. As tutors, they make a key contribution to teaching and learning. Many of the university's key international partnerships are underpinned by joint PhD programmes, which means our PG Researchers are important ambassadors for Warwick. And of course, PG Researchers are valued colleagues and members of the university community. It is for all these reasons that we want to celebrate you all and the work you do.
