Congratulations to Warwick's team in the International Mathematical Competition

Congratulations to Warwick's team in the International Mathematical Competition for University Students (IMC2023)! Our team of 5 competed in Bulgaria and was ranked 17th overall among 72 competing teams of widely varying sizes. The individual results of the Warwick team members were:

First Prize: Peter Hyland, Jan Kuś, Kyle Thompson

Second Prize: Florian Keta

Third Prize: Iskander Trevor Mathews

Support and training came from George Kontogeorgiou, Oleg Pikhurko, Thomas Read, Robin Visser and Jun Yan

Congratulations to two Warwick mathematicians who have each won LMS Whitehead Prizes!

Marie-Therese WolframLink opens in a new window for her groundbreaking contributions to applied partial differential equations, mathematical modelling in socio-economic applications and the life sciences, and numerical analysis of partial differential equations.
