Yorick Fuhrmann
Hi there! I am a first year PhD student interested in algebraic topology, algebraic geometry and everything in between. My supervisors are Martin GallauerLink opens in a new window and Marco SchlichtingLink opens in a new window. Here is my CV.
Education
I obtained my bachelor's degree from Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), where I wrote my bachelor's thesis about Galois and Monodromy Groups in Algebraic GeometryLink opens in a new window, supervised by Mario KummerLink opens in a new window. I then studied Part III of the Mathematical Tripos at the University of Cambridge. There I wrote an essay about Topics in Complex CobordismLink opens in a new window, supervised by Oscar Randal-WilliamsLink opens in a new window.
