Hello! I'm Kian Lush and I'm a second year PhD student in the Maths CDT. I am interested in Algebraic Topology, in particular Equivariant Stable Homotopy Theory. My supervisor is Prof John GreenleesLink opens in a new window.

At the moment, I'm studying complex projective spaces in rational S1-equivariant stable homotopy theory.

Education:

  • 2021-25: MSc in Natural Sciences, Durham University

My Fourth Year ProjectLink opens in a new window was on Differential Forms and de Rham Cohomology and was supervised by Dr Martin KerinLink opens in a new window.

Teaching:

  • 2024-25: Undergraduate Tutor for Calculus I and Linear Algebra I at Durham University.

Conferences Attended:

  • TTT123, University of Warwick (December 2025)
  • New Perspectives in Stable Homotopy and Beyond, MPIM (September 2026)
    • Contributed Short "Gong Show" Talk: "Complex Projective Spaces in Rational S1-Equivariant Stable Homotopy Theory"
