Eva Zaat

Hiya! I am a third year PhD student and I focus on continuum mechanics, solid mechanics and material sciences under the supervision of Dr Thomas Hudson and Dr Ed Brambley. I am specifically interested in the mathematical modelling of the elastic and plastic behaviour in metal sheets during forming processes.

You can contact me by emailing me or you can find me in the Zeeman building on campus during office hours.

Education

I have done my MMath undergraduate degree at Warwick. My master's dissertation was on the Mathematical modelling of metal forming applied to the English Wheel which was supervised by Dr Ed Brambley. A large section of this was spend on the derivation of the Föppl–von Kármán equations.
