EPSRC Symposium Workshop: Final CODY workshop
Renormalization in low dimensional dynamics and its applications
University of Warwick, December 13-17, 2010
The meeting will be rather focused and will be based around the following minicourses:
- Renormalization of one dimensional real and complex maps:
This will be a mini-course by Welington de Melo and lectures by Edson de Faria, Konstantin
Khanin, Genadi Levin and Charles Tresser - Renormalization in two dimensional dynamics
This will include several lectures by Hans Koch and Marco Martens
- Statistical properties of one dimensional maps
This will include several lectures by Juan Rivera Letelier - Parameter exclusion methods
This will include a mini-course by Trevor Clark on the prevalence of regular and stochastic
in the unimodal family - Rigidity in real and complex dynamics
This will include several lectures by Davoud Cheraghi, Oleg Kozlovski, Pascale Roesch and
Sebastian van Strien
The lectures are aimed at a wide audience with interest in dynamical systems.
Everybody is welcome to present a poster at the poster session
(Please note that if you need funding from the EU network CODY and you are not a main speaker,
you are required to present a poster).
