A Day in Analysis and Geometry
Friday 27th September, 2013
This is a half-day event sponsored by the London Mathematical Society to celebrate the appointment of a new Professor at the Mathematics Department of Warwick University (Andrea Malchiodi). There will be three talks by Michael Singer (University College, London), John Toland (Newton Institute, Cambridge) and Andrea Malchiodi (University of Warwick)focused on Analysis and Geometry. The event will be followed by a reception and dinner. If you are interested in attending this event or would like further information, please send an email to Andrea Malchiodi (A.Malchiodi@warwick.ac.uk). For organisational purposes, it would be helpful if you could confirm your participation.
The talks will take place in Room B3.03 in the Mathematics Department at the University of Warwick (directions can be found here).
A (very) small amount of funding to support travel (by rail) for graduate students and young researchers might be available.
