Zeeman Building Facilities

Zeeman Building Access

Visitors to the Zeeman Building are able to access the building through the main automatic doors at the front of the building. These doors open on approach Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm.

Outside of these hours, card access is required. Card access is reserved for Warwick staff and students. Some longer term visitors, however, may be given an ID card to use and this will permit access to the building.

Reception & MRC locations

The Maths Reception is located on the Ground Floor of the Zeeman Building. It is straight ahead of you as you enter the main front doors to the Zeeman Building.

The MRC is located in B1.37 of the Zeeman Building. If you enter the Zeeman Building through the main front doors, turn left and go through the double doors into the Maths Institute, go up the stairs on your right-hand side and the MRC is at the top of the stairs on your left.

Water Fountains

There are three water fountains in the Zeeman Building for your convenience. You should bring your own cup / bottle with you. These are located at the following locations:

• Ground floor by Reception
• First Floor at the top of the stairs from the main entrance to the Maths Institute
• Second Floor at the top

  of the stairs from the main entrance to the Maths Institute

Vending Machines

There are food and drink vending machines in the Zeeman Building for your convenience. These machines accept card payments only.

The machines can be found on the ground floor off the atrium, through the double doors, close to the exit between MS.01 and MS.02 lecture theatres.

Infant Feeding / Relaxation Room

This is a lovely, relaxing space which can be used for infant feeding or for simply taking some time out. This is a bookable space. Please see the separate page for further information about the room and to book the space should you wish.

To note that this space would also be suitable to use as a prayer room.

Gender neutral toilets

There are several gender neutral toilets, as well as gendered toilets throughout the Zeeman Building. These are located on every floor of the building and details can be found on the floor plans linked to above.

First Aid Kits & First Aiders

There are several first aid kits in the Zeeman Building as well as trained first aiders. See below for details.

Bleedkits

There are several bleedkits across campus. There is one close to the Zeeman Building at the IMC.

There are several AEDs across campus. There is one at the Zeeman Reception.
