Any offer to study Maths at Warwick will be made up of specific grade requirements. You will also need to take one of the entrance exams - TMUA or STEP.

A-levels
Applicants for 2026 entry are likely to receive the following offer if they achieve a strong score in TMUA:
A* in Maths, A* in Further Maths plus A in a third subject at A-level
Where applicants are not sitting TMUA, but have informed us they will be sitting STEP instead, the offer would be:
A* in Maths, A* in Further Maths plus A in a third subject at A-level. You must also achieve grade 2 in any STEP.
International Baccalaureate
Applicants for 2026 entry are likely to receive the following offer if they achieve a strong score in TMUA:
39 points overall, with 6, 6, 6, in three Higher Level subjects, to include Mathematics (‘Analysis and Approaches’ only)
Where applicants are not sitting TMUA, but have informed us they will be sitting STEP instead, the offer would be:
39 points overall, with 6, 6, 6, in three Higher Level subjects, to include Mathematics (‘Analysis and Approaches’ only). You must also achieve grade 2 in any STEP.
