Do we have to return the iPad at the end of the course?

Yes, University regulations dictate that the iPads must be returned to the University at the end of the course. Please note it is the University of Warwick regulations that prohibit the sale or gift of the iPads to students.

The collection is timed to coincide with the Assistantship sign off day. Further details will be shared by the Assistantship block lead nearer the time.

If your loan device was supplied with a charger and lead but you have over the years lost this please don't panic. We have plenty of spares.

You are free to perform a full factory reset before returning the device. Alternatively, our MDM software allows us to perform a full remote reset.

The returned iPads are sent back to the supplier as part of a circular economy arrangement. This arrangement also goes someway towards offsetting the cost of purchasing new devices.

Do they have a good battery life? Do they come with a protective case? Do they have a camera? Who do I contact if I forget my iPad passcode? Do we get a screen protector? What if my iPad screen cracks?

If your iPad is damaged or not functioning in any way please contact IT team ASAP via the this online form

Students will not be held liable for the cost of repairs or replacement. But failure to report damage to UoW loan property could be raised as a professionalism concern.

However, please note any replacement device is likely to be an older model than the one you were initially assigned.

What happens if my iPad is lost or stolen?

If your iPad is lost or stolen please contact IT team ASAP via the this online form
