Language Centre

Knowledge of foreign languages is becoming increasingly important in certain areas of employment. In your second year and later years at Warwick there is the opportunity of studying a foreign language as part of your course. One important point that you must consider is that the University no longer permits students to take level 1 language modules in their 3rd or 4th year of study. You can however take so called accelerated modules as these have level 2 outcomes (though of course are therefore more demanding).

Alternatively the Language Centre, which is located on the ground floor of the humanities building, offers a wide range of facilities that you can use in your own time to either learn a new language or brush up your existing knowledge.
