Styles Prize
•Graham Styles joined Warwick in 1966 when the physics department was formed. He arrived as a researcher with Professor Seymour and later became a leading member of academic staff from 1970 until 1997.
•Graham’s research area was NMR, which has been a strength of the department from inception to the present day. His early work was in liquid metals. Later on he studied Hydrogen in metals which remains a major research theme linked to renewable energy.
•We are now a UK centre of excellence for NMR with our 850MHz spectrometer and have one of the best equipped research laboratories in Europe.
