Screening Rights Film Festival to open in Coventry and Birmingham

The fourth annual Screening Rights Film Festival, organised by Dr Michele Aaron of the University of Warwick's Department of Film and Tevlision, is to open this week in Coventry and Birmingham, showcasing films that explore themes relating to social justice.

The spies who loved him – what do real intelligence officers think of James Bond?

As a new art exhibition opens at Bletchley Park celebrating the James Bond series and exploring Bond creator Ian Fleming’s links to the secret world of intelligence and espionage, two University of Warwick academics reveal what real spies think of Fleming’s famous creation.


Coventry's Film and TV Heritage Returns to City Centre

Coventry’s history of film and television is set to be celebrated with a new exhibition that provides Coventrians with a unique opportunity to view their city through the years, thanks to a new project led by Dr Helen Wheatley of Film and Television of Studies.

Coventry: Ghost Town Haunting #1 runs from the 16th-22nd April in the Shop Front Theatre with members of the public invited to watch extracts of programmes made in and about the city on the big screen in two vintage living room sets.
