To use the Lambda 1050 UV-Vis spectrometer a booking request will have to be submitted on-line*. The availability calendar will be updated mid-week. Users will then be able to see when and to whom instrument time has been allocated in the forthcoming week. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings can be made here

Users are responsible for ensuring that all consumables (e.g. LHe) are pre-booked.

Only recognised and trained users will be allowed to use the instrument.

"No shows" by users who have booked the instrument will result in a reduced booking priority. Failure to leave the instrument in perfect condition after use will result in future access being denied.

*Please note that bookings should be requested at least 48 hours in advance in order to be approved and to avoid disappointment. Short notice bookings may result in an overlap to experiments already running.
