Raman spectrometers
Booking Details
- To use a spectrometer (see below for details) a booking request must be submitted online as far in advance as possible.
- Users can check availability via the Renishaw Spectrometer Booking link above. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
- Users are responsible for ensuring that all consumables (e.g. LHe, LN2) are pre-booked.
- Only recognised and trained users will be allowed to use the instrument.
- "No shows" by users who have booked the instrument will result in a reduced booking priority. Failure to leave the instrument in perfect condition after use will result in future access being denied.
Training and Industrial Analysis
Ben Breeze (b dot breeze dot 1 at warwick dot ac dot uk)manages access to the Raman spectrometers and training. You cannot use or book the Raman Spectrometers (and accessories) until you have completed the training and are on the recognised users list. Please fill out the training request form and a suitable date for training will be arranged.
Samples
No sample may be brought into the laboratory without first completing a Sample Submission form and receiving an acknowledgement from Dr Ben Breeze. This only needs to be done once for a given sample.
