You must follow the appropriate monitoring point scheme for your study status. If you are a visa holder, your status will change immediately when you have used your visa to enter the country.
Monitoring points take place in the same week for students in the same year group but the event for which attendance is recorded will vary according to whether you have a visa or not and whether you are studying in person or remotely. The study statuses for which there are different monitoring point schemes are;
- Visa students studying in person
- Remote Study - visa students with permission to study remotely (or prior to arrival in the UK) and non-visa students with permission to study remotely
- Non-visa students without permission to study remotely
The monitoring point schemes for each of these study statuses is listed below for each year group.
It is your responsibility to check and ensure that you are following the appropriate scheme. The monitoring points that we expect you to be following in term 1 are listed here. You can report any errors in your monitoring points here.
If you miss a monitoring point for your scheme for good reason, e.g. due to self-isolation, please complete the authorised absence form.
