Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC)
The SSLC allows students to have a say on their course, their department, and their resources, and is a great way to input into the University. They also provide an opportunity for the department to consult with students and receive feedback on new proposals i.e. regulations and procedures for assessment, examination etc.
The SSLC can make recommendations to the Statistics Staff Meeting.
SSLC composition
The SSLC is made up of elected student representatives, professional support staff and academic staff. They are student-led and provide an area for students and staff to discuss ideas and solve problems concerning teaching, learning and student support.
