Warwick's world leading research in Statistics recognised in REF2021
World-leading research
- Warwick Statistics and Warwick Mathematics Institute together rank third nationally among Mathematical Sciences research groups for research power and sixth for research quality1, in REF2021, the most recent UK government research assessment
- 65% of Warwick's research in mathematical sciences was assessed as world leading (the highest grade, 4*, in REF 2021) with almost all of the remaining research assessed as internationally excellent (3*).
