The idea behind Day 1: Data-driven meeting

Our three experts will present their research interests and scientific data-driven questions. These questions may be answered using tools, ideas, and approaches from mathematics, statistics, machine learning and data science. We obviously do not expect to solve such answers by the end of the day. Instead, the goal of Day 1: Data-driven meeting is to brainstorm possible approaches, ideas, or even rise further questions which may lead to scientific publications, ad-hoc focused workshops, research proposals, etc.

Each participant will select one of the three topics, and ideally discuss/brainstorm on that during three breakout sessions. There will be the possibility of switching topic if you feel like. A 1-page summary of each topic will be circulated to the registered participants.
