Theodoros Galanis
I am currently a second-year PhD student in the Centre for Doctoral Training at the Department of Statistics at the University of Warwick. I work under the joint supervision of Dr. Giuseppe Cannizzaro and Dr. Tommaso Rosati. My research interests lie in probability theory and stochastic analysis; in particular, I focus on singular stochastic partial differential equations and their long-time behaviour.
Before joining the PhD programme, I obtained both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mathematics at the Technical University of Berlin. My master’s thesis, titled On Particle Approximations of the Dean–Kawasaki Dynamics, was supervised by Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Stannat, and my bachelor’s thesis, titled Large Deviations for High Interferences, was supervised by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang König.
