Mengqi Chen
I am in my second year of the Mathematics and Statistics CDT program at the University of Warwick. Before joining the PhD program, I obtained MMath and BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. The title of my master's essay is "Theory and Applications of Maximum Mean Discrepancy."
My main research interests are in Bayesian inference, emphasising Bayesian nonparametric learning (NPL). I am currently working with Harita Dellaporta, Prof. Theo Damoulas, and Dr Thomas Berrett on robust Bayesian inference for nonlinear regression.
Outside of academics, I enjoy singing, knitting, and board games. My name in Chinese is 陈梦琪.
