Benjamin Robinson
I began my PhD here at Warwick in 2025. I'm studying optimal scaling problems under the supervision of Professor Gareth Roberts. I earned my Bachelor of Science (Honours in Mathematics) from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) in 2025. At MUN I studied slice sampling with Dr. Alex Shestopaloff and symplectic geometry with Dr. Tom Baird.
Outside of work, I enjoy genealogy and American numismatics. I like solving and collecting twisty puzzles like the Rubik's Cube. I enjoy exploring remote areas—hiking and fishing therein. Besides spending time in schools, I worked in pipeline construction in western Canada and in eastern Canada I worked as a tour bus driver and guide.
