The University of Warwick's new Centre for Doctoral Training in Mathematics for Real-World Systems will work with 13 partners to train students on a 1-year Masters and 3-year PhD programme, helping them develop the new mathematical insights needed to address high impact problems and challenges for society in health, industry and finance. The EPSRC & BBSRC Synthetic Biology Centre for Doctoral Training (SynBioCDT) is a 4-year doctoral programme that offers training in the new field of Synthetic Biology, the "Engineering of Biology".
