Research Clinics
About
Whether you are considering applying for a PhD or are on your way to a breakthrough in your field, it always helps to get some expert advice on your work. Last year, with the support of the staff in our department, we successfully offered research paper clinics for our conference attendees. This year, WICAL still hopes to offer young academics the opportunity to get valuable feedback from distinguished scholars. Besides running Paper Clinics, this year's Research Clinics will be more inclusive and add to it a new Research Consultancy project.
Paper Clinics
Purpose
Paper Clinics aims to receive feedback on your work from a distinguished academic in your field with the aim of developing it into a full research paper. You will receive written feedback as well as attend a one-on-one online session where you will be able to discuss your work.
Potential participants will need to submit a short research paper beforehand. This work needs to demonstrate your main arguments and show the potential for the development of a full research paper.
