Question Time 2019Tuesday 23 Jul 2019
At the beginning of each academic year, we hold a Warwick Question Time event with the aim to give students as well as staff the opportunity to watch exciting panellists discuss a range of issues.
The event is very similar in format to the popular BBC television show, and will form part of our induction activities for Economics and PAIS students to start the new academic year in style and is an excellent opportunity for students to engage with politicians, policy makers and academics on major issues and questions that concern the world.
Date: Wednesday 2 October, 6.00-7.30pm
Location: Butterworth Hall, Warwick Arts Centre, University of Warwick
This year's event will be hosted by the Department of Economics and Politics and International Studies Department(PAIS) and will debate current affairs.
Professor Chris Anderson (Chair)Chris Anderson is Professor of Politics and Economics and Director of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). He also is a Research Associate at the Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy (CAGE) and a Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics.
As a researcher and teacher, Chris works at the intersection of politics and economics. His research focuses on the micro-foundations of markets and democracy and examines how economic and political structures shape citizens’ judgements and behaviours.
