Mark Harrison: Soviet GDP in WW2

This page gives access to the data that I used for my book Accounting for War: Soviet Production, Employment, and the Defence Burden, 1940-1945 (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1996). The original .wb1 files were created in Quattro Pro (a Borland product, since taken over by Corel), and I thank Neil Gatty of the Department of Economics for converting them to Microsoft Excel. In .xls format, the files preserve the formula links within the originals, but the links between files have been converted to values.
