Dr Hyo Yoon Kang elected as Co-Director of the International Society for the History and Theory of Intellectual Property

We are thrilled to share that Dr Hyo Yoon Kang, Reader/Associate Professor at Warwick Law School has been elected this month as the Co-Director of the International Society for the History and Theory of Intellectual Property (ISHTIP) for a five-year term.

ISHTIP is the leading international scholarly society dedicated to the study of intellectual property from a multi-disciplinary, contextual and critical perspective, and it organises seminars, workshops, and annual meetings to foster its aims.

Hyo Yoon has said:

“Exciting things are happening in this corner of legal scholarship at Warwick: from unique course offerings in the field of IP that embody research-led teaching.Our research excellence in this area is not only reflected in publications and service to scholarship, but also in our engagement with contemporary social and political issues"
