PAIS Graduation

On Thursday, January 23rd, the Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS) hosted a special graduation reception to honour the accomplishments of its graduating students. This event celebrated the achievements of undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students, marking a significant milestone in their academic journeys. Faculty members, alumni, and families came together to acknowledge the hard work, perseverance, and dedication demonstrated by the graduates.

 

 

During the event, the Head of Department, Professor Matthew Clayton, and the Director of Education, Dr. Trevor McCrisken, shared reflections on the remarkable successes of the students. Both emphasised the collective pride felt by the department, highlighting the close-knit community and the shared joy of seeing these students reach this important point in their academic careers.

The reception provided an opportunity for the PAIS community to come together, offering a moment of reflection and celebration. It was a fitting occasion to honour the graduates’ accomplishments and to look ahead to the exciting future that lies before them.
