CFP: Two GR:EEN workshops

Dear colleagues

As you may know, the GR:EEN project, based in CSGR, is a major European Commission funded research project which explores Europe's role in a multi-polar world. Warwick is the lead partner and one of 16 partner institutions around the world. Across the coming four years, GR:EEN partners will organise a great many workshops and conferences and we hope to be able to extend invitations to present papers throughout the PaIS department here at Warwick. We now have the pleasure of doing this for the first time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

GR:EEN project colleagues UNU-CRIS and ULB are pleased to circulate the attached call for papers for a workshop on “Quantitative Indicators of European Power” and a further workshop on “Indicators of Regional Influence”.

Both will take place in Bruges, from March 26-27th 2012

We would like to invite our PaIS colleagues to submit a one-page abstract by December 5th to: pdelombaerde@cris.unu.edu and mzwartjes@cris.unu.edu. Please add affiliation and short bio and indicate to which workshop(s) you are submitting your abstract(s). Selected authors will be notified by December 15th.

Participation in these workshops is restricted to researchers affiliated to one of the GR:EEN partner institutions and selected invited experts. Further information on funding and who to contact is included in the attached call.

Kind wishes,

Laura
