APSR article on Mexican liberal internationalism

Tom Long and Carsten-Andreas Schulz's article "A Turn Against Empire: Benito Juárez’s Liberal Rejoinder to the French Intervention in Mexico," has been published in the latest issue (vol 119, no 2) of the American Political Science Review. The article examines the international political thought of Mexican liberals as they enunciated anti-imperial visions for the organization of world politics in the face of a French intervention in the 1860s. The underpinning research was supported by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council.
