The SPUDM2021 Poster Session will take place on Monday 23 August 2021, from 1900 to 2100 hrs BST.
The deadline for submitting your poster is 1200 hrs BST on Monday 9 August. If you submit after that, or in another format than those specified in the instructions linked below, while we will do our best to reformat and upload your poster, we cannot guarantee it being ready for the poster session.
We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox only.
Posters will be displayed in several poster rooms, each accessible from the conference atrium or via a lobby area with the poster location listed on information points. You can check the location of a poster via the Posters tab on the online SPUDM2021 Programme. This is updated daily with any amendments.
Attendees will move around the virtual poster rooms and interact with the presenter and the poster in a private space, and are also able to interact and talk to people whose avatars are close by. Each poster has private space in front of it so that conversations do not intrude on neighbouring poster presentations.
When you are passing a poster, if a preview is available, it will pop up at the bottom of your screen as shown in the image above. When you are in front of a poster and it is highlighted yellow, press X on your keyboard and it will display at full size.
If you are looking for someone specific in the space, you can select their name in the participant bar on the side and create a path to them. Please don't follow people unnecessarily.
