Richard Payne
Research Interests
Richard Payne holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and has been Associate Professor of Finance at Warwick Business School since January 2008. He has previously worked both in academia and the investment management industry. His main teaching and research interests lie in the fields of empirical asset pricing, exchange rate determination and market microstructure. He is currently working on topics including the impact of stock lending activity on share prices, various aspects of the relationship between order flow and exchange rate levels and the determination of price improvements granted to trades on the London Stock Exchange.
